Registered architect (retired) and Professional Construction Project Manager. CEO of the JBCC from 2011 to 2019, during which he helped redraft the JBCC standard-form contracts and trained some 5,000 delegates in their use. A member of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa), an exco member of the Construction Adjudication Association of Southern Africa and a fellow of RICS. He now runs Building Strategy, a consultancy that helps the industry avoid and deal with contractual claims.
