Individual architectural practitioners, students and candidates join via our regional institutes, while architectural practices - INCLUDING SOLO PRACTICES - join through a declaration process. SAIA also welcome industry partners and sponsors who support the vital work of the Institute, and professionals.

Individual Membership via Regions

Individuals enter membership to SAIA by becoming a member of one of the nine regional institutes. Members benefit from SAIA's international networking, national engagement and collective advocacy, whilst enjoying the close contact and contextual insight of regional chapters.

SAIA Practices

Architectural practices - even solo practices - join SAIA through the practice declaration process. This free step for practices is needed to enter competitions, to publish work in Architecture Digest and to be listed on the website as a SAIA Practice.
